Serving dinner at the Central Night Shelter was nothing short of amazing. I'm passionate about the well being of my friends without shelter. This year I'm asking for assistance and donations to help serve my friends without homes in the city of Atlanta. I'm overwhelmed with joy from the outcome so far. God blesses us to be a blessing to others. The things we take for grant are the things most of our brothers and sisters are praying for. This and every year moving forward seek ways to touch lives and bless those who you encounter. Someone is depending on your encouragement in order to want and do better. Be blessed friends and family!

Meet Mr. Jacob. Yvonne and I went out to spread the word about Pulse Church, the Sunday before last, and met Mr. Jacob. Mr. Jacob surprised me last Sunday by joining us in worship. Before Mr. Jacob left he told me he was blessed by our worship team and the message, "Team work makes the dream work." Mr. Jacob also stated in order for him to visit a church he has to be lead. I'm glad the spirit moved him to visit Pulse Church last Sunday. Love God? Got heart? Show it!

I love my Internship with Pulse Church Atlanta. There is never a dull moment. We laugh, touch lives, cry, engage in the community, worship and spread Gods love! Have you done something progressive today? Love God? Got Heart? Show it!

This weekend we got away from it all. We went to the cabins in White, Ga. During our retreat we prayed. Connected with God. Laughed. Cried. But most importantly we recognized growth and identified areas in which we will allow God to stretch us! Meet Yvonne and Yeeun. I love these two, to the moon and back!

Today we celebrated the last day of Chuseok. Chuseok is a major harvest festival and holiday in Korea. Like many other harvest festivals around the world, it is held around the autumn equinox. This holiday is similar to Thanksgiving. At dinner we went around the table sharing what we are thankful for. We also shared family traditions and items that are special to us. We enjoy this special day with Yeeun.

September has been a month filled with community fellowship. During this month my community and I visited Renovation Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and our last service was Central Presbyterian Church. I've really enjoyed experiencing the different worship styles and traditions. I'm also blessed to be able to feel the love of God and the ability to gain revelation from each service. So far we've experienced many unexpected surprises along with much joy. I'm so appreciative of the diversity within my community. The chemistry within the house is outstanding. Though we're still in our honeymoon phase I know our community will do great this year because it's grounded on the love of God. Though today was our last community church visit, this upcoming week will be my official start with Pulse Church. I'm excited about the upcoming teachable moments and growth during my time with Pulse Church. Until next time friends and family be blessed!

As awesome as it has been to visit different volunteering sites, I'm excited to announce my official volunteering home for this Fall. I'll be serving as a Ministry Intern at Pulse Church. Pulse Church is located in the Grant Park area. Pulse Church is a new progressive life-giving church, with a vision to build a diverse faith community of people who live the gospel of Christ by connecting the pulse of God to the pulse of the city. I'm excited to be apart of this journey to bridge the gap and spread Gods unfailing love within the community.

Greetings friends and family. I'm so excited to share this selfless YAV (Young Adult Volunteering) journey with you guys. My journey started on last week in Stony Point, NY. The week started intense but as the 7 day orientation progressed we were able to build a community and experience the love of God . In Stony Point we learned the meaning of community, toured various places of worship, laugh, cried, worshiped, discussed biases and racial issues/solutions. During my visit to the city of New York I was given the opportunity to visit and tour Al-Khoei mosque. This experience was very humbling and informative. The week in Stony Point prepared all YAV's for a year of service, for a lifetime of change. After returning from Stony Point my housemates and I moved into our home. We ended our first night in a circle of prayer and a group hug. The next day we served at Loaves and Fishes feeding ministry and the Andrew P. Stewart center. We were going into our place of volunteering expecting to service but instead we were serviced with great words from the community. My prayer is to rebuild the City of Atlanta on the foundation of Gods love and truth.
